Oribidoro combines the proven Pomodoro technique with a real sand simulation: thousands of individual grains trickle through the glass, pile up into a natural cone and follow every movement of your iPhone or iPad. Tilt it, flip it, shake it – the sand reacts just like the real thing.

HOW IT WORKS • 25 minutes of focus, 5 minutes of break – alternating automatically • When a phase ends, the hourglass turns itself over • Choose your own focus and break lengths (15 to 90 minutes) • Auto-continue can be switched off

ALWAYS IN VIEW • Floating window (Picture in Picture) above all other apps – move it anywhere • Home and Lock Screen widgets with start/pause right in the widget • On Mac: a small always-on-top window plus a desktop widget

KNOW YOUR RHYTHM • After each session, quickly rate how focused you were • Statistics show sessions, focus time and your concentration by time of day, weekday and timer setting • With enough data the app spots patterns – like when you focus best, or whether 50/10 suits you better than 25/5
