About
A little room to create. PaperIsle is a personal drawing studio for iPhone and iPad, built for sketching, color studies and everyday illustration.
MAKE YOUR MARK Draw with your finger or Apple Pencil. Choose ink, graphite, marker and additional brush presets, then adjust size and opacity to suit your next idea. Available native brush types vary by iOS version.
BUILD IN LAYERS Keep your ideas separate with up to 16 editable layers. Show, hide, reorder and adjust each layer’s opacity. Import a photo as a reference layer. Undo and redo include drawings and layer edits during your current editing session.
FIND YOUR COLORS Begin with curated Botanical, After Hours and Primary Play palettes, or mix a custom color. Set your paper color or export with a transparent background.
SPACE TO CREATE Find and rename artwork in your sketchbook. Preview canvas proportions before you begin. On iPad, keep colors and layers beside your canvas; on iPhone, use compact tools or focus mode. Tap with two fingers to undo and three to redo.
KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE Your artworks save automatically on this device. Share full-resolution PNG images, or export artwork backups that preserve editable layers. Import backups from the gallery menu. Keep backups in Files before uninstalling the app or moving devices.
A STUDIO THAT IS YOURS No account, advertising, analytics or subscription. Drawing and local saving work offline. One purchase includes the app for iPhone and iPad.
Includes an original, editable botanical study to explore the tools. Advanced selection, animation, PSD export and Procreate file compatibility are not included.
