About
Particle Studio turns physics into music.
Drop a few hundred particles onto a floor, tune the gravity and the bounce, and every landing plays a note. What comes out is a short, hypnotic video with a soundtrack nobody composed — it was performed by the simulation.
Everything renders on your phone. No account, no upload, no waiting on a server.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a shape — a line, a disc, a heart, a star, or type a word and watch the particles spell it out. 2. Tune the physics — gravity, drop height, bounce, and the order the particles fall in. 3. Export — every landing becomes a note on the instrument you chose.
There is no timeline and nothing to keyframe. The preview runs live at full frame rate, so what you see is what you get.
SHAPES
Line, circle, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, ring, heart, star — and Text, which lays the particles out as whatever you type, with the floor sized to fit the word.
MOVEMENT
Thirteen ways for the particles to fall: centre-out, edge-in, spiral, ripple, wave, pinwheel, diagonal, rows, columns, scatter and more. The order shapes the motion and the melody at the same time.
SOUND
Fourteen instruments — marimba, glass bell, electric piano, pluck, square lead, synth pad, music box, kalimba, vibraphone, wood block, harp, bass drop, choir and steel drum — plus an eight-voice drum kit with kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, clap and rimshot.
