About
PDF Outline Scissors edits the bookmarks (outline) of PDF files and extracts pages. It is made for anyone who works with long PDFs such as lecture notes, papers and manuals.
• Edit bookmarks – Add, rename, delete, indent, outdent, reorder and retarget bookmarks – Add a bookmark to the current page while browsing thumbnails (its title starts as the first line of the page) – Undo every step with ⌘Z
• Work with bookmarks in bulk – Copy bookmarks from another PDF, adjusting page offsets – Edit bookmarks as text; export to and import from text files – Shift destinations by a number of pages, or sort bookmarks by page
• Extract pages – Choose where to cut in the page thumbnails to build an extraction list – Create the list automatically from the bookmark headings at the level you choose – Ranges may overlap, and every extracted PDF keeps its bookmarks
• Respect your original PDF – Saving bookmarks keeps page contents, document information and password protection – Unchanged bookmarks keep their original destinations, colors and collapsed state – Go back to earlier versions with macOS versions – PDFs whose authors prohibit changes are never modified
• Free and Pro The free version opens and edits PDFs up to 100 pages, and saves, exports and extracts PDFs up to 20 pages. PDF Outline Scissors Pro (a one-time purchase) removes the page limits.
