In short

Pigly: Learn Words is a dictionary app for learning Belarusian, Polish and English, where users build their own word collections from included packs, saved reading material, or words they add themselves. Each word is reviewed separately for reading, recall, writing from hearing, and listening, with a daily board of reviews. What stands out is that it shows knowledge rather than points, with no streaks or badges.

About

Pigly is your own dictionary for the language you are learning: Belarusian, Polish and English.

Not a ready-made list of words somebody else decided you should learn. In Pigly you choose what you want to know: take words from the packs the language arrives with, save them from books and articles, or add your own. The app helps you remember them at your own pace.

BUILD YOUR OWN COLLECTIONS

Pigly comes with word packs: the dictionary, idioms and collocations. Browse them, search them, and add a word to your collections with one tap — together with its meaning and examples from real texts. If the word is not there, add it yourself, with your own meaning. Met a new word while reading? Select it in your browser or any other app and send it to Pigly through the share sheet — it is filed without the app opening. And if you already have a list of words, import a whole collection at once. What you learn and how you arrange it is yours to decide: only words from your collections come up for review.

LEARN A WORD FROM SEVERAL SIDES

Knowing a word is not only recognising it when you read it. So in Pigly one word has several independent skills: • recognise it when you read it • recall it from its meaning • write it down from hearing it • understand it by ear Each skill has its own review schedule. The last two need a voice for that language installed on your device — without one, the word is learned in writing.

TODAY IS A BOARD, NOT AN ENDLESS FEED

The whole day's reviews are one tap away. Or take only what matters now: the words that are slipping, the ones that have waited longest, the ones you chose to study. Want to do more? Start practice beyond the plan — it will not move the schedule of your next reviews.

FOLLOW YOUR PROGRESS

Pigly shows knowledge, not points. See how many of your words are new, how many are still in rotation, how many have set, and how many you’ve fully learned. For each word you can also see how you know it: recognise it when reading, translate it, write it, or understand it by ear. For languages with a frequency list there is a quick level check: 30 words in about 3 minutes. No streaks, no points, no badges.

A NEW WORD RIGHT ON YOUR SCREEN

Add the widget to see a word you do not have yet and what it means — on the Home Screen or on the Lock Screen. And the Today widget shows how many reviews are left for the day.
