About
Pixi is a tiny pixel cat that lives along the bottom of your Mac's screen.
It keeps to itself. Most of the time it sits in a corner, now and then it strolls to the other side, and when it gets sleepy it curls up for a nap. It is there when you glance down, and out of the way when you don't.
A CAT WITH A LIFE OF ITS OWN • Wanders between the corners of your screen, sits down for a rest and dozes off when it feels like it. • Stands on the very bottom edge of your screen and walks in front of the Dock. • Click it and it jumps, then dashes off to a corner.
LOOK AFTER IT • Your cat gets hungry over time, even while your Mac is asleep or the app is closed. • Feed it from the menu bar: a bowl appears and your cat walks over to eat. • A small mark appears above its head when it is very hungry, and it won't nap on an empty stomach.
MAKE IT YOURS • Name your cat the first time you open the app, and rename it whenever you like. • Hover over your cat to see its name.
CALM BY DESIGN • No sounds and no notifications. • Lives in the menu bar, with no Dock icon and no window to manage. • Uses very little of your Mac's resources while your cat rests. • No account, no ads, and nothing leaves your Mac.
Pixi needs macOS 14.6 or later and lives on your main display.
