Plonk - Who Goes First

Who deals? Who pays? Who goes first at the board game?

Plonk settles it. Everyone puts a finger on the screen. Plonk asks you all to hold still for a moment, so anyone late can join, then counts down and picks.

Three ways to play, chosen at the bottom of the screen:

Who's first picks one finger. Order numbers every finger. Number 1 goes first. Teams shares everyone out evenly into 2, 3 or 4 teams. Same letter, same team.

Two fingers are enough to start. Lift a finger or add one during the countdown and Plonk starts the countdown again, so nobody can say they weren't ready. When it's done, lift your fingers and put them down again for another round.

Tap the gear to change a few things:

Sounds: a plonk for each finger and a tick for each second. Silent mode keeps it quiet. Words both ways up: shows the words the other way up too, for the people sitting across the table. Dark table: a dark screen that is easier on the eyes in a dim room. Countdown: 2, 3 or 5 seconds. Quick if you're in a hurry, tense if you're not.

Your phone taps along as fingers land, as the countdown ticks and when the pick is made. Plonk remembers your settings between launches.

An iPhone can only feel five fingers at once. A sixth lands and the iPhone lets go of everyone, so Plonk tells you and you go again. Up to five of you can play.

Plonk is a one-off purchase. No in-app purchases, no ads, no subscription. It has no account and makes no network connections of its own, so it works the same with or without signal, and it collects no data.
