About
Pocket Night is three tiny monochrome LCD game machines about night jobs in a small town.
A REAL MONOCHROME LCD Figures move only by fixed segments switching on and off. Unlit segments are faintly visible, lit ones cast a small shadow, and each one lingers for an instant as it fades. A hand-painted town shows through beneath the glass.
FOLD IPHONE DUO INTO A HANDHELD Set it down half-open and the top screen becomes the display while the bottom becomes the control pad and buttons. On other iPhones it stacks top to bottom; in landscape and on iPad it lays out pad, screen, buttons side by side.
THREE MACHINES • Umbrella Shop (free) — A sudden shower. Hand an umbrella to everyone who reaches the shop. • Lighthouse Keeper — Turn the beam toward each boat before it hits the rocks, and top up the lamp oil before the light goes out. • Night Bakery — Three ovens. Pull each loaf when it turns golden; leave the smoke too long and it burns.
THE OLD-SCHOOL RULES GAME A (normal) and GAME B (fast). Three misses and it's over; reaching 300 points clears your misses. It speeds up as you score. Press TIME for the clock, where a silent demo plays on its own. Button-press haptics and tiny buzzer beeps that follow the silent switch.
GAME CENTER Leaderboards for each machine and mode, plus achievements. Signing in is optional.
PRICING Umbrella Shop and the clock are free with no limits. Lighthouse Keeper and Night Bakery come with Pocket Night Pro, a one-time purchase. No subscription. No ads.
