About

Film your squat. Get a second opinion.

Powerlifting Verdict turns your iPhone into a squat-review tool. Set your phone on a tripod, film a squat from the front, and the app does the rest — it finds you in the frame, trims the clip down to the rep, and gives you a read on your depth.

This is a training aid, not a certified referee. Use it to check your own depth and consistency between sessions — not to overturn a real judge.

A SECOND OPINION ON YOUR DEPTH • Every squat gets a graded read: GOOD LIFT, Leaning good, Leaning no lift, or NO LIFT. • On most reads you also see how often competition lifts that scored like yours passed, so you can tell how marginal the rep was. • It's honest about its confidence. When a rep is too close to call from a single camera, it says so instead of guessing.

SEE THE REP, NOT JUST THE READ • Every analysis produces a clean, auto-trimmed clip of just the squat. • A pose skeleton is drawn right on the video, so you can study your positions frame by frame. • Scrub back and forth to check the bottom, your depth, and the drive out.

100% ON-DEVICE. 100% PRIVATE. • All analysis runs on your iPhone's Neural Engine. Your videos never leave your phone. • No account, no sign-up, no ads, no cloud upload. After a one-time setup on first launch, it works fully offline.

BUILT FOR THE SQUAT • Version 1 does one thing: the squat. Bench and deadlift are planned. • Film something that isn't a squat and the app tells you, rather than guessing.

BEST RESULTS A single phone camera sees less than a judge on the platform does, so setup matters: • Film from the front — face the camera, roughly straight on, with the phone at about shoulder height. • Use a tripod or prop your phone, and keep it still. • Record in landscape with your whole body and the bar in frame.

Built by a lifter, for lifters. No feed, no fluff — just a fast, private second opinion on your squat.
