About
PresbyFriend is a reading aid for presbyopia — the near-vision blur that sets in after 40. Point your phone at the small print you cannot read, and it turns into text you can.
MAGNIFIER Use your camera as a handheld magnifier. Zoom digitally, switch on the flashlight for menus in dim restaurants, and tap the shutter when you want the text recognized.
TURN A PAGE INTO TEXT Recognition runs entirely on your device. The text opens in a reading view — no photo left to squint at, no pinching to zoom. Nothing you photograph is uploaded, and there is no account to create.
READ IT YOUR WAY • Font size, line height, and letter spacing, all adjustable • Four page themes: white, sepia, dark, and yellow • A reading ruler that highlights the line under your finger • Read aloud, so you can listen instead of read
BRING TEXT IN FROM ANYWHERE • Share a link to PresbyFriend and it pulls out the article text, leaving the ads and menus behind • Pick a photo from your library instead of using the camera • Copied something? Paste it straight in
FREE AND PRO PresbyFriend is free for 10 readings a day. A monthly or yearly subscription removes the limit. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.

Built for readers who are tired of holding the menu at arm's length.
