About

You've always wanted to learn to program, but don't know where to start? This app takes you step by step from your first line of code to your own small programs - in the language that schools, universities and companies work with today: Python.

CODE THAT REALLY WORKS You can run each example directly in the app, change it, and start it again. Python runs directly on your device - no internet, no account, no waiting time.

30 LESSONS IN 6 CHAPTERS • First steps: print(), variables, calculation • Data and text: data types, strings, f-strings, inputs • Decisions and program loops: if, while, for, break • Data structures: lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets • Functions and modules: def, parameters, import, try/except • Practice: files, classes and two own projects

LAB: 90 TASKS WITH AUTOMATIC CHECK There are three tasks for each lesson (easy, medium, difficult). You write the code in the editor with syntax colours and toolbar, tap "Check" - and the app tests your program with multiple inputs. If something is wrong, you can see exactly which case is still missing. Hints help, the solution of the problem is only available after the first own attempt.

QUIZ, CHAPTER TESTS AND CERTIFICATE 240 quiz questions: "What does this code print?", "Where is the error?", gap texts. After each chapter a test, at the end the final exam with questions and programming tasks. If you pass everything, you will receive a personal certificate as a PDF.

IN ADDITION • Learning video for each lesson (online) • Lexicon with all technical terms • Playground for own programs • Typical beginner mistakes with explanation • Night mode and customisable font size • 9 languages

Buy once, use forever. No subscription, no advertising, no data collection.

The certificate is a proof of learning of this app and not a state-recognised degree. Python is a brand of the Python Software Foundation; this app is an independent learning offering.
