About
Quietfall is a white noise and sleep sound mixer you buy once. Layer rain over brown noise, add a fan, and let the mix fade out as you fall asleep. The free version plays all night with no time limit. No subscription, no ads, no account.
BUILT FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT • White, pink, brown and green noise are generated in real time, so there is no loop seam to hear at 3 a.m. • Recorded nature sounds are long loops, cross-faded for gapless playback • Keeps playing with the screen off, with controls on the Lock Screen and in Control Center • AirPlay to HomePod, plus a Live Activity with a countdown and a stop button • Works fully offline
FREE, FOR GOOD • 8 sounds: white, pink and brown noise, light rain, ocean, fan, stream and shush • Mix up to 3 layers • Sleep timer and background playback • 1 saved mix No time limit and no nag in the middle of the night.
FULL UNLOCK, ONE PAYMENT • All 24 sounds, with more added in free updates: heavy rain, rain on a roof or window, distant thunder, wind, crickets, fireplace, washing machine, train, airplane cabin, café, cat purr, heartbeat, womb and more • Up to 5 layers • Sleep-onset fade over 20, 30 or 45 minutes, to silence or to a quiet floor. The curve is based on sleep-lab studies of faded pink noise. • Gentle alarm that fades in • Room calibration: a 10-second microphone measurement suggests a level in the 40–50 dB band. Nothing is recorded or stored. • Presets: Nursery (with a volume cap), Partner (the whole mix in one AirPod), Travel, Focus and Tinnitus (a tunable noise band) • Siri and Shortcuts • Unlimited saved mixes • Family Sharing: one purchase covers your family
BUY ONCE Pay once and it is yours. No subscription, no trial that turns into a charge, nothing to renew. If you would like to support development, there is an optional tip jar. Tips unlock nothing extra.
