About
QuizRead helps you learn English by reading. Every text is written for one CEFR level, from A1 to C2, so you can follow it and still meet new words each time. When you want something longer, read whole books page by page with the same tools.
HOW IT WORKS 1. Take a short adaptive level test, or choose your level yourself. 2. Read a short text written for your level: an article, a letter, a diary page, a dialogue, a menu, a chart or a map. 3. Double-tap any word to see its meaning, example sentences, synonyms and antonyms. Select a whole sentence to translate it in place. 4. Save the words you did not know to your personal dictionary. 5. Answer the questions at the end and see how much you understood. 6. Study your saved words with flashcards and games. Spaced repetition brings each word back just before you would forget it.
WHAT YOU GET - More than 1,000 texts across six levels, from A1 beginner to C2 advanced - Books you read page by page, with the same word lookups and translations - Comprehension questions at the end of the texts - Translations into your own language, chosen from more than 180 languages - A personal dictionary with meanings and example sentences - Six study modes: learn, test, match, flashcards, unscramble and hangman - A natural AI voice that reads words, sentences and whole texts aloud - Themed reading sets and new picks for your level every week - Your own texts: paste any English text and read it with the same tools - A daily goal, a streak and home screen widgets that keep you reading - Adjustable text size and four reading themes
