Recall: Exam & Study Cards

Recall turns what you need to learn into flashcards — and tells you exactly which ones to review each day. Less time, longer memory.

HOW IT WORKS — 3 STEPS 1. Make cards: scan textbook pages, import a PDF or paste your notes. Recall splits them into question-and-answer cards for you to check and save. Coming from Anki? Import your decks with their progress. 2. Review every day: tap Start reviewing. Read the question, answer it in your head, then tap Reveal answer and rate yourself: Again, Hard, Good or Easy. 3. Let Recall plan the rest: from every answer it works out when you should see that card next. Cards you know come back less and less often; cards you forget come back soon. Just finish the day's cards — usually 10–20 minutes.

WHY IT WORKS • Active recall: trying to remember before you look builds memory far better than rereading notes. • Spaced repetition: reviewing just before you would forget makes each memory last longer. Recall uses the FSRS algorithm to schedule every card individually. • No wasted reviews: you spend less time on what you already know and more on your weak spots. • Exam-ready: set your exam date and Recall suggests how many new cards a day will cover everything in time.
