Relativitree is a family tree app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Start with yourself or the oldest ancestor you know, then grow the tree with parents, partners, children and siblings. Relativitree lays it all out for you, generation by generation, and keeps it tidy as the family grows.

SEE HOW EVERYONE’S RELATED Tap anyone and every card shows what they are to that person: grandmother, half-brother, stepdaughter, sister-in-law, second cousin once removed. Focus on one person’s direct line to see just their ancestors, descendants and siblings.

LIVES, NOT JUST DATES • Fuzzy dates like “abt 1890” or “Mar 1902”, the way family records really are • Life events: baptisms, schooling, jobs, military service, moves, censuses, emigration and more • Sources and citations for every fact, from the census page to the family bible • Birth, adoptive, step and foster parents, each labelled correctly • Photos from your library and notes for everyone

CATCH MISTAKES EARLY Relativitree flags dates that can’t be right, like a child born after their mother died or someone marked living at 140, and spots people who may be in your tree twice. Compare them side by side and merge them, keeping everything from both.

WORKS WITH OTHER GENEALOGY APPS Import and export GEDCOM, including older files in ANSEL and Windows encodings. Add a relative’s tree to yours, then merge the people you share.

SHARE IT, PRIVATELY Share your tree as a PDF, an image or GEDCOM, or print it. Living relatives’ dates, places and notes are left out unless you choose otherwise.

ON IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC Pinch and pan around the tree, and tap anyone for their details. On iPad, the people list, tree and details sit side by side. Your trees are ordinary files in iCloud Drive, so they’re on your iPhone, iPad and Mac alike, and one purchase covers all three. No account, no subscription, and nothing is sent to us.
