Rindit

Rindit is a social network with a messenger attached — your feed and your group chats in one app, because the people are the same people.

YOUR FEED • Post photos and video together, and video plays right in the post • Paste a link and your post carries a preview card for it • Your timeline is in the order things were posted — it is never ranked • Save posts and clips into collections, and share a collection with friends

CLIPS • Vertical video, up to 90 seconds, one screen at a time • React, comment, save and share without leaving the clip

MESSAGES • One-to-one chats and groups of up to 100 people • Send photos and video in any conversation • Communities and channels for the groups you run • Notifications, so a message arrives rather than waiting to be found

ENCRYPTION YOU TURN ON • Turn on end-to-end encryption for any conversation — including group chats, which most messengers cannot encrypt • When someone leaves an encrypted group, the key changes, so they cannot read what is said afterwards • Your keys are made on your phone and never leave it. We cannot read your encrypted messages, and we cannot recover them for you either

Said plainly: encryption is per conversation and you switch it on, so most messages are not encrypted until you do. Encryption hides what was said, never that it was said. Once turned on for a conversation it cannot be turned off.

YOUR ACCOUNT • Sign in with your email address and a passcode we send you — there is no password to steal or reuse • Report a post and a person reviews it. If we act on your account, we tell you, and you can appeal

Rindit is free, with no paid tier.
