About
Whatever you're running for, you get there run by run. Not just on the nice days.
The runs you lose are rarely lost to anything real. They go on a cold, dark morning, to a forecast you can't read and a drawer you're not sure about, while the decision quietly unmakes itself.
RunOutNow ends that conversation. In seconds you have a definite outfit and a straight read of what's out there. Get dressed and go.
It doesn't track your training or count your miles. No streaks. It does one thing: it keeps the weather from being the reason you didn't go. The ones you almost skip are the ones that add up.
NOTHING LEFT TO DECIDE AT THE DOOR Pick 1, 2 or 3 hours and the outfit is there, head to feet, plus what to bring, in the order you put them on. It's chosen for the coldest part of your run, not the minute you step outside, and it flags a temperature drop while you're out.
WHAT THE WEATHER MEANS FOR YOUR RUN Feels like temperature. Wind, with an arrow for the direction it's blowing, so you start into it and finish with it at your back. Then whatever matters most right now: rain or snow with its chance and intensity, footing and ice, heat, air quality, or how much daylight is left. Below that, short notes you can tap: what the gusts, the slick ground, the poor visibility or the sun will actually do to your run.
THE ONE TIME IT TELLS YOU TO WAIT Ordinary cold, wind and rain aren't a reason to skip a run, so we just tell you how to dress for them. A thunderstorm, frostbite on exposed skin in 5 to 10 minutes, dangerous heat or badly polluted air is something else. The Run now button becomes Run anyway, under a line that reads "It's best to reschedule, but it's your call". The decision stays yours.
MOVE THE RUN INSTEAD OF LOSING IT Plan shows the best conditions in the next 24 hours, or pick any hour by part of the day. When this morning is a wall of rain, the run moves to the evening instead of disappearing. Saving that run with its weather and outfit is Pro. One upcoming run, not a calendar.
ALMOST SKIPPED IT, DONE ANYWAY Tap Run now and the run is saved in your Journal with the weather you ran in and the outfit you got. Just the days you went anyway. The "What to wear now" home screen widget keeps the outfit one glance away.
WHAT PRO ADDS Pro makes the advice yours, so it fits closer and you doubt it less:
Clothing matched to your effort Men's and women's gear recommendations Weather and clothing for your planned run Suggestions within your preferred running times Advice that adapts to your run feedback
In practice: warmer layers for easy runs and lighter ones for hard, the weather and outfit for a start time you saved, a Plan that looks in your preferred times first, and advice that moves when you rate a run More warmth, Just right or Less warmth.
