About
Sapere is a trivia game for people who want to learn something real. Every question comes with a short explanation, a picture and the source it was checked against.
DARE TO KNOW The name comes from the Latin motto sapere aude, "dare to know", which Kant made the motto of the Enlightenment. No gossip, no celebrity news: history, science, philosophy and technology.
LEARN AS YOU PLAY After every answer, right or wrong, a card explains the fact in two or three sentences, credits the image and links to the source.
SCORE AND STREAKS Each question has 20 seconds. Harder questions, faster answers and streaks of correct answers score more. Your best rounds go to the scoreboard on your iPhone.
FULLY OFFLINE Everything is inside the app, so it works on a plane, underground or anywhere without a signal.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. The app collects no data at all.
This first edition is a small starter set. New question packs across many more subjects are coming in updates.
