About
◆ Every item is a single-use scroll
Swords, armor, healing draughts — in this world they are all scrolls. Unroll one and it takes effect. Then it is gone.
What do you bring? Where do you spend it? What do you leave behind? In Scroll Dungeon, the hard choices start before you enter the mine.
◆ Turn-based grid crawling
Move one tile, and the enemy moves one tile. Nothing rushes you. Read the board and take the best line.
Steam-driven machine horrors, sleeping sentries, reinforcements drawn by noise. Fight through, slip around, or burn a scroll — every decision costs you something you cannot get back mid-run.
◆ Knowing when to walk away
The deeper you go, the better the payout. Wipe out, and everything you carried is gone. Choosing to turn back is a skill in itself.
Retreat, and none of the scrolls you carried come back with you — only the ash you earned along the way.
◆ Failure compounds into power
Spent scrolls become ash. Ash converts into permanent upgrades at the Ash Workshop, and those carry into every run.
A lost run still makes the next one easier. Nothing you do is wasted.
