About

Follow guided meditations in audio and video, mix relaxing nature sounds and find step-by-step panic attack support. Self brings your practice together on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. All features are free, with no subscription.

MAKE YOUR OWN SOUNDSCAPE Combine rain, forest, waves, a campfire and other sounds. Adjust each sound's volume and save your mix as a practice. Start with built-in sounds, even without an internet connection.

MAKE THE LIBRARY YOURS Add audio and video from Files, your own recordings, and YouTube links. Organise your library into categories and keep your favourites close. Bring the voices, music and practices that mean something to you.

FOLLOW YOUR PULSE With Apple Watch, see live heart rate in the player and review its changes after a practice. Explore session history, heart-rate trends, active days and time spent practicing. The diary shows how many sessions have heart-rate data, so you can see the context behind each trend. Without a watch, Self still tracks your session duration and mindful minutes.

PRACTICE FROM YOUR WRIST Start and control a practice on Apple Watch, check your next ritual, and review recent sessions. Transfer local audio files to your watch ahead of time and listen offline without bringing your iPhone. Your watch sessions sync back to iPhone afterwards.

MAKE ROOM FOR A RITUAL Choose your practice, repeat days and reminders. Set an exact time or a flexible window that fits your day. Use the player's sleep timer for a wind-down session.

A NEXT STEP WHEN PANIC HITS Open step-by-step panic attack support on iPhone or Apple Watch, with breathing, grounding and voice guidance. Afterwards, record an episode's duration, context, notes and available heart-rate data. Review patterns over time and export your history as a PDF or CSV, choosing whether to include personal notes and heart-rate data.

ONE PRACTICE, ACROSS YOUR DEVICES Use Self on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Your library and history sync between iPhone and iPad through iCloud. Use iPad's larger screen to explore detailed analytics and review your diary.

FREE TO USE Every feature is available without a subscription or paid unlock. You can optionally support the developer with an in-app tip.

Heart-rate features require Apple Watch and the relevant Health permissions. Heart-rate data is shown as context, not a medical conclusion. Offline playback applies to built-in sounds and downloaded local files. Offline playback on Apple Watch requires local audio files transferred to the watch in advance; YouTube videos require an internet connection.
