ShotSentry turns your iPhone into a simple, yet powerful shot timer for range practice. Choose a drill, tap Start, and shoot on the beep. Track your first-shot time, splits, and total time — no extra hardware required.

From quiet bays to busy multi-lane ranges, ShotSentry automatically calibrates to your environment and helps filter out shots from nearby shooters. Detection has been refined across more than 650 simulated range environments to improve reliability in real-world conditions.

LIVE FIRE & DRY FIRE

Switch between Live Fire and Dry Fire directly from your drill.

In Live Fire mode, ShotSentry detects gunshots and records your shot times and splits.

In Dry Fire mode, ShotSentry listens for trigger clicks instead, so you can practice at home using the same drills, start signals, par times, and timing tools.

Dry Fire mode is optimized for snap-cap and striker clicks with your iPhone positioned about an arm's length away in a quiet room. If quieter clicks aren't detected, simply increase the sensitivity.

You can also use Check Detection to test your setup before starting a drill.
