ONE CODE, EVERYONE'S IN Start a group, name it and pick a currency. Pass the code around, or show the QR code. Friends join in the app or straight from their browser, and nobody has to make an account to join.

SPLITS THAT MATCH REAL LIFE Split equally, by exact amounts, by percent or by shares. Edit an expense later and the group's history shows what changed, so nothing is quietly rewritten.

FEWER PAYMENTS AT THE END Shout works out the smallest set of payments that settles the whole group, instead of everyone paying everyone. Record a payment when it's made and every balance updates.

MORE THAN ONE CURRENCY Spend in yen, pay back in dollars. Shout suggests the day's rate and locks it in when the expense is added, and you can change it to whatever your card actually charged. A rate that moves later never moves a figure the group already agreed on.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Everything is kept on your phone first. Add an expense on a boat, in a tunnel or on a plane, and it catches up when you're back online.

SEE WHERE THE MONEY WENT Every balance can show the expenses and payments that made it, line by line. Charts show who the spending was for and when it happened.

STAY IN THE LOOP Get a notification when someone adds an expense. Several added in a row arrive as one, not a stack.

INVITES, UNDER CONTROL If an invite link goes astray, replace it. The old one stops working, and everyone already in the group stays connected.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. Signing in needs only an email address, and you can delete your account data from inside the app.
