About

You know some bass lines? Ready to build better grooves, fills, and solos? Start here!

Sisco’s Bass Fretboard Trainer is a modern bass-learning system designed to help players understand scales, neck movement, modes, chord tones, improvisation, and bass-line construction in a faster, more intuitive way. Instead of relying on static diagrams and endless memorization, the app trains players to recognize movable patterns and understand how those shapes connect across the bass neck.

The system focuses on pentatonic positions, diatonic modes, roots, chord degrees, and visual fretboard recognition. Players can explore Pentatonic or Diatonic patterns in Major or Minor, helping bassists understand how scales relate to different keys, chords, and tonal centers. This visual, pattern-based approach builds the confidence needed to create grooves, follow chord progressions, connect positions, add fills, construct walking lines, and improvise across the neck.

Interactive training modes reinforce scale recognition, root awareness, tonal centers, chord-tone relationships, and movement between strings while developing muscle memory through repetition and practice. The experience is intentionally clean and distraction-free, allowing players to develop instinctive fretboard awareness without depending on note labels or traditional fretboard markers.

The augmented reality Finger Trainer uses live camera recognition of finger movement to practice scale sequences. Note Match listens through the microphone as you play bass notes, and a guided tuner helps you tune the four strings. This creates a unique connection between visual learning, finger memory, and real bass-playing technique that goes beyond traditional bass lesson apps.

Whether you play blues, rock, jazz, funk, metal, R&B, soul, reggae, or modern improvisational styles, Sisco’s Bass Fretboard Trainer offers a fresh and highly visual approach to learning bass scales, chord tones, connected fretboard patterns, grooves, fills, walking lines, and soloing.

String Focus lets you show or hide the E, A, D, and G strings independently, so you can practice individual strings or your own string combinations.

Download free to practice minor pentatonic Positions 1 and 2 with ads and daily AR exercise limits. Optional rewarded videos provide additional daily exercises. A one-time Full Unlock purchase unlocks the remaining positions, diatonic modes, tonalities and AR variations, removes ads, and removes daily AR exercise limits. Restore Purchases is available in Settings. Screenshots show features available with Full Unlock.
