By Eyal Pollak · ProductivityWhy we expect it: Thoughtful puzzle pair with a clear hook and detailed description, though the audience is niche and the category is a mismatch.
About
SkuivLous is a pair of ropewalk-shed games for people who like a quiet puzzle with a clock in it.
A note from the maker: I grew up around long sheds where hemp hung in hanks to dry, each with a small sandglass beside it. Those glasses became the first game, and the spinner's slow walk down the beam became the second.
Hank Watch: several hanks hang in the shed, each with a label and a sandglass. Find the hank whose glass empties soonest and tap out its label, letter by letter. Sixty levels, from short beams to mirrored labels, blind glasses and gusts.
Yoke Sweep: scrub your finger along the guide rail to slide the spinner's yoke up and down, so the yarn tail trailing behind curves clear of the pillars. Reach the end of the walk without a fray. Eighty levels.
Every level awards up to three marks. A ledger keeps your tally and twelve badges. One optional one-time purchase, the Long Shed Key, opens the wider beams and sheds.
