About
Free to try for 7 days with every feature, then a one-time purchase unlocks SleepTimer on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. No subscription.
Fall asleep to anything. Pick a duration, and when the time is up SleepTimer stops whatever is playing: Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, podcasts, audiobooks, Apple Music, Safari videos and more.
HOW IT WORKS Keep SleepTimer open. Its night screen turns pitch black and you can lay your iPhone face down. When the timer ends, SleepTimer stops playback and lets your iPhone lock itself. iOS only allows the app in front to stop other apps, so SleepTimer tells you honestly when it needs to be open.
MADE FOR THE NIGHT • One tap: your last duration and your favorite presets are right on the first screen • Any duration from 1 minute to 12 hours, or a time like 23:30 • Night screen in true black with a dim red clock, no bright flash at the end • Add 5 or 15 minutes, or shake your iPhone in the last minute • Optional gentle haptic or soft chime one minute before • Optional sleep sounds (brown noise, pink noise, soft rain, ocean) that fade out
EVERYWHERE YOU ARE • Live Activity and Dynamic Island with remaining time, +10 minutes and Stop • Stop playback now from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Action button, even when SleepTimer is in the background • Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen • Siri and Shortcuts: "Start a sleep timer in SleepTimer" • Apple Watch: start, extend and stop from your wrist, with complications • Mac: menu bar timer that pauses Music, TV and Safari and mutes everything else
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. SleepTimer collects no data at all. After the 7-day trial, a one-time purchase through your Apple Account unlocks the timers.
GOOD TO KNOW SleepTimer cannot stop playback at the end of an episode or fade the volume of other apps; iOS does not allow that. "Stop playback now" stays free, also without a purchase.
