Soleil is a calm, practical sun companion for people who actually enjoy time outside. Most UV apps forecast what might happen; Soleil also remembers what did — it puts the live UV first, helps you review your protection, and can show you the sun day you actually had.

WHY SOLEIL • Personalised, not generic. Confirm your Fitzpatrick skin type manually or with the optional skin scan, then tailor protection-check estimates to your skin, SPF and clothing. • Built around real time. The home tab pulls live local UV from Apple WeatherKit and keeps that UV reading separate from your estimated protection-check time. • Track sessions properly. Start a session, pick what you're wearing and your SPF, and a live ring counts down to the next protection check while Live Activities keep it visible on the Dynamic Island. • Protect your people. With Pro, add everyone to an outing, record sunscreen person by person, and run each of their reapply reminders. • On your wrist. The free Apple Watch app puts synced UV, session time and daylight on your watch face and in the Smart Stack, with haptic protection nudges. • Routines that guide you (Pro). Save your Daily Glow routine, the products you trust and the steps you follow — your live sessions walk you through them in order. • Private by design. Your sessions, profile and routine stay on your device and sync between your devices only through your own private iCloud. No analytics, no trackers, no cross-app profiling.

WHAT SOLEIL WON'T DO • No countdowns to "safe time". Soleil estimates when to reassess your protection — a check-in, not a promise you won't burn. • No tanning content aimed at children. Adults can optimise their glow; children are only ever protected. • No guessing at your skin. Your Fitzpatrick type is set by you, or by an optional scan you can overrule. • No account, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
