Room to breathe. Your windows, a little more together.
Sort My Life Out helps arrange ordinary windows from different apps on your current desktop. Choose Tiled for a tidy grid, or Focused to place your main window in the centre above the other tiles.
MAKE THE LAYOUT YOURS Preview the suggested arrangement before applying it. Select tiles to swap their places, adjust the focus choice, or reset to the suggestion. Windows suggested for minimising are always shown for your confirmation.
ONE BUTTON. A LITTLE MORE CALM. An animated indicator lets you know when the app is checking and arranging your windows. An optional completion sound marks a successful tidy. Choose between Classic and Keyhole designs.
ON YOUR MAC No app account, advertising or analytics. Layout decisions use local window information.
FIRST-RUN SETUP REQUIRED The app uses Apple's Shortcuts app to make window changes. Add the included Window Companion Shortcut, enable Allow Running Scripts in Shortcuts settings, and approve the requested Automation and Accessibility permissions. Setup instructions are included in the app.
Requires macOS 13 or later. Full-screen windows, already minimised windows and some windows that do not support resizing are excluded or may prevent an arrangement. App-imposed minimum sizes can limit the available layouts. There is no persistent Undo option.
