SpotFocal

SpotFocal is the planner for photographers who want to know the light, the weather and the field of view — before they stand at the spot.

Place the gold camera pin and the cyan subject pin. SpotFocal draws the real field of view for your focal length and sensor: full frame, APS-C, Micro Four Thirds, 1 inch or iPhone. Distance, frame width and bearing sit right under the lens readout.

The sun path stays glued to your standpoint. Azimuth, elevation, sunrise and sunset, golden and blue hour — tap to jump to the right time. A dashed visibility arc in the cone shows how far the air will actually carry.

Weather is for the spot, not for home: temperature, cloud cover, rain, wind and visibility. OpenStreetMap, Apple Map or Hybrid — whichever the shot needs.

Spots store the whole plan. Optionally SpotFocal reminds you before golden hour. Share a plan, search a place, turn the lens ring like a real zoom.

For landscape, architecture and iPhone. No subscription.
