Every result is measured, never estimated: exact bytes before and after, resolution, codec and bitrate. For photos you also get PSNR.

YOUR ORIGINALS ARE NEVER TOUCHED Compression always creates a new copy with the original capture date, so both appear side by side in your library. Nothing is deleted automatically — Replace Original is explicit, and the system asks you to confirm before anything is removed.

REQUIREMENTS iOS 15.1 or later. Compression uses the device's own hardware encoders, so newer devices are faster.
