Starship Alcubierre

From low Earth orbit to the edge of the cosmos. Starship Alcubierre is a 3D space shooter set in the real universe.

- REAL OBJECTS, REAL DISTANCES Fly past the Moon, Mars, Ceres in the asteroid belt, Jupiter and Europa, Saturn and Titan, Neptune and Triton, Pluto and the Oort Cloud. Then on to Proxima Centauri b, TRAPPIST-1, Cygnus X-1, Sgr A* at the galactic center, the Large Magellanic Cloud, the Andromeda Galaxy, M87 and finally the Great Attractor of the Laniakea Supercluster: 17 sectors starting from Earth. Every sector shows real observational data and a true story about the place.

- DISTANCE AND PROPULSION DECIDE HOW FAR YOU GO Each expedition can last at most 365 days. A chemical rocket (17 km/s, like Voyager 1) gets you as far as Ceres; Jupiter would take about 400 days. Upgrade ion thrusters, the Alcubierre warp and wormhole gates to reach stars light-years away.

- SUPER-TECH BUILT ON REAL SCIENCE Charged-particle pulse cannon, relativistic railgun, antimatter missiles, gravitational-wave cannon, micro black hole shells, time-dilation field, Casimir vacuum reactor, Hawking harvester and more. Each is a leap beyond real physics, from particle accelerators and E=mc² to LIGO's gravitational waves and Hawking radiation, and the in-game Tech list explains the real science behind each one.

- BLACK HOLE GRAVITY AND TIME DILATION Near a black hole, gravity bends your ship and your shots, and time runs slower (gravitational time dilation from the Schwarzschild solution). Touch the event horizon and you take heavy damage.

- ONE-FINGER CONTROLS Drag anywhere to steer; weapons fire automatically. Tap the button at the lower right to trigger super-tech. XP and upgrades carry over, so every run makes you stronger.
