That sentence appears in thousands of reviews of other Sudoku apps. Sudoku by Ibexo is the answer to it: a Sudoku without the game around it. No ads, no streaks, no points, no levels, no daily challenge, no trophies, no confetti. When a puzzle is done, it is done.
WHAT YOU GET • Eight levels: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Extreme, plus a quick 6×6 and a large 16×16 with letters. • Puzzles rated by the technique they need, not by how many numbers are given. Every puzzle has exactly one solution. • Hints that teach, in two steps: first where to look, then which technique applies and why. One more tap makes the move. Each hint names the cell by row and column. Unlimited, never counted. • Quick pencil fills in all candidates. Pencil notes, unlimited undo, notes that clean themselves up, auto-complete at the end. • Lightning mode: pick a digit, tap the cells. Boxes that already have it fade out. • Mistakes checked instantly, counted with a limit and a second chance, or not checked at all. A second error colour for colour-blind players. • Light and dark, four colours, three typefaces for the digits, five sizes. A board that uses the whole width of the screen. • A reminder, if you want one: after 10, 20 or 30 minutes the game tells you, once and quietly. Off by default. • Works completely offline. No account, no login.
WHAT IS LEFT OUT, ON PURPOSE No leaderboards. No statistics about your past games. No streaks or daily challenges. No notifications. No sounds. No "next puzzle" countdown. No rewards for coming back. Nothing that pulls you back into the app when you would rather stop.
PRICE The first 15 days or 15 puzzles are free, whichever comes first. No card, no sign-up. After that, Sudoku by Ibexo needs the full version: • 1 month: $2 (subscription) • 1 year: $10 (subscription, about $0.85 a month) • Forever: $20, one purchase, no subscription All three unlock the same app; nothing is exclusive to the subscription. Prices are in US dollars; your App Store shows what that comes to in your own currency. Family Sharing is on.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
