Supatask connects people who need something done in Samoa with people nearby who can do it.
IF YOU NEED SOMETHING DONE Post a job in a few words: clean the fale o'o before family arrives, clear the gutters before the rains, prepare an umu, collect a parcel off the Savai'i ferry, check on a house, tend a grave. Helpers near the place make an offer with their price and their own words, and you choose. When it is happening you can see it: a photo on arrival, the phone confirming the helper is near the place, and photos while they work and when it is done.
Living overseas and cannot see the thing yourself? That is what Supatask is for. The record is on the job, with the time in Samoa, so you are not taking anyone's word for it.
IF YOU WANT TO EARN TĀLĀ Find jobs near your village, see exactly what you would get paid, and make an offer. Say what you will do, how long it takes and what you bring. If you are chosen, you get the exact place once it is yours, check in with a photo when you arrive, and agree payment directly with the person who posted. While we are getting started, Supatask takes no fee and you keep all of it.
WHAT WE CHECK, AND WHAT WE DO NOT We want to be plain about this. Helpers show their name, village, photo and their own words, and each helper card says exactly which checks have been done, and which have not. We ask helpers for a government ID before money can reach them. We do not run police checks, and Supatask does not insure the work. For tasks spent with a person, the person who posted must approve that specific helper first.
BUILT FOR SAMOA Villages and districts across Upolu and Savai'i. Times shown in Samoa time. Samoan and English together, the way people actually speak. No street addresses: a village and a landmark are enough.
SAFETY Every message thread, task and offer can be reported, and you can block anyone you do not want to hear from. A person reads every report. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.
