About
SwissBG runs your backgammon club's Swiss-system tournament from one phone. No spreadsheets, no paper draw sheets, no internet account.
LOAD YOUR PLAYERS IN ONE TAP Choose your club and SwissBG pulls the current player list and ratings from the ANZBGF results site. Clubs across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria and South Australia are built in, plus the full ANZBGF ratings list. Tick who's here tonight and add walk-ins in seconds.
FAIR SWISS PAIRINGS, EVERY ROUND Round 1 pairs players by rating. From Round 2, players are matched against others on the same score, avoiding repeat opponents wherever possible. If a pairing has to repeat, SwissBG tells you.
REAL CLUB NIGHTS, HANDLED • Odd number of players? A bye is handed out fairly, never twice to the same player if it can be avoided. • Someone has to leave early? Untick them and SwissBG re-pairs their opponent without disturbing the other tables. • A couple of games still going? Start pairing the next round for everyone else.
ENTER SCORES IN SECONDS Tap + and − to enter each match score. Winners are highlighted and the standings update straight away.
LIVE STANDINGS WITH TIEBREAKS Standings are ranked by wins, then point difference, then Buchholz, so ties are settled the way club directors expect.
SHARE THE RESULTS See the full crosstable, share the results straight to your club's WhatsApp group, or export a results CSV.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No sign-up and no ads. Your tournament is stored only on your phone.
Choose a match length from 1 to 11 points, run up to four rounds, and spend the night playing backgammon instead of doing paperwork.
