In short

Tap - One Tap a Day is a health and fitness app built around a daily word, with a short note, a writing question and optional guided breathing or timed silent sitting. It suits people who want a quiet daily routine with a personal journal and no feed or badges. One standout detail is that the words, notes and history stay on the phone and in the user's own iCloud, with export available at any time.

About

Tap is a small daily practice built around one word.

Once a day, you tap the screen. A new word opens with its meaning, a question to write about and a minute to breathe with it. When you want more quiet, a silent sit waits, opened and closed by a bell. Over the weeks, the words gather into a journal you can read, search and return to. No feed, no noise, no badges to chase.

THE WORD OF THE DAY • A different word every day for a whole year, never repeated: 366 words, each with its meaning • The same word in seven languages, with its meaning in each • A short note under every word, and a daily question when you don’t know where to begin • Note the weather inside with one tap: bright, mixed, cloudy, rainy or stormy

BREATHE • A guided breathing session with the day’s word, whenever you need a pause • Three patterns: Calm (4·6), Box (4·4·4·4) and Unwind (4·7·8), for one, three or five minutes • A slow circle to follow and a gentle vibration for each breath, so you can close your eyes

STILLNESS • A timer for sitting in silence: 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes • A soft bell at the start and at the end; lock your phone, and the closing bell still comes on time • A calm, starlit night scene, with no breaths to count: you simply sit

JOURNAL • Every word you have collected, as a list or on a month calendar • Search across words, meanings and your notes • Star the words that stay with you and find them again in one tap

RHYTHM • Your current and longest streak, words, notes, stars, and minutes of breathing and stillness • The last 18 weeks at a glance, your steadiest weekday and the time of day you usually return • Milestones at 7, 21, 30, 50 and 100 days and beyond: no badges, just a ring and a sentence • The inner weather of your last 30 days, at a glance • Streak saves, earned every seven days, cover a day you miss

ALSO • One quiet reminder a day, at the time you choose • A night appearance that follows your phone, or that you choose in the menu • English, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian

PRIVACY No account and no ads. Your words, notes, inner weather and practice history live on your phone and in your own iCloud, so they come back if you reinstall or change phones. Export everything at any time as text or as a backup file.

MEMBERSHIP The first 7 daily words are free. After that, a yearly membership keeps a new word coming every day. Your journal, notes, breathing, stillness and rhythm always stay open. The membership renews automatically every year until you cancel it.
