About
TasteRoll is a simple idea: your own personal food discovery app of every spot or meal worth remembering and logging.
We built it because our camera rolls were full of photos of places, food and memories we could never recall again. No names, no places, no idea what we even ordered.
TasteRoll is a food journal that turns those scattered photos or notes into a real record keeper of experiences, all in one place: what you ate, where, what it cost, and whether it was worth going back. Your own taste, mapped out over time in a simple & aesthetically pleasing way that can be shared with friends.
So next time you eat somewhere good, don't just snap and forget, log it.
Here's what's inside:
- LOG IN SECONDS: Snap a photo, and auto-fill the restaurant name and address. Point the receipt scanner at your bill and it pulls the prices too, no typing required.
- A MAP OF EVERYTHING YOU'VE EATEN: Every meal gets pinned to a map. Scroll it, zoom into a neighbourhood, and see what's nearby to choose your next outing.
- YOUR OWN COLLECTIONS: Group entries into different categories like Hidden Gems or Date Night Spots, and pull them up whenever you're deciding where to go next.
- LEARN YOUR OWN HABITS: See your average spend, your longest streaks, and whether you're a creature of habit or always chasing something new.
- PRIVATE, ALWAYS: No public reviews, no ads, no algorithm. Just your meals, under your account, for you to judge.
- SHARE THE HIGHLIGHTS: Turn a month or a year of eating into one quick shareable snapshot of your food journey to send to friends.
Thanks for giving TasteRoll a shot...we built this for people who love food as much as we do!
