Run a small estate office in Verpoli, a fictional early-modern free port. Acquire old buildings, survey their condition, choose repairs and negotiate a sale. Every quarter brings upkeep, city levies and agreed payments.
Arrange rooms on a compact floor-plan board. Explore how passages, workshops and living spaces work together. Choose an assistant whose specialty supports your decisions.
Read transfer deeds, compare records with field notes and speak with the people whose lives remain tied to a house. Residence agreements and life annuity deeds carry costs that cannot all be settled today. A completed transaction may return as a letter, a newly found document or a reopened case.
Quiet architectural illustrations, a restrained instrumental score and choices with different costs bring this trading city to life. Records matter, but they do not contain everything.
