In short
TimelyUNA is an education app that uses the roughly eight-minute light delay between the Sun and Earth as an interactive astronomy lesson. Users compare what they see now with the Sun's actual current position, follow visualizations of light travel, and explore the sky with a celestial finder and augmented reality. It is aimed at curious adults, young students, families, educators, and stargazers.

Every sunrise you see is already our Sun’s history.
Sunlight takes roughly eight minutes to reach Earth. TimelyUNA transforms that delay into an interactive astronomy experience you can see, explore, and remember.
Compare Visible Now with Actual Now. Launch the Nowonaut toward the Sun’s current position and follow the LightLine across the gap between what reaches your eyes and what is happening now.
Use the celestial finder and Live Celestial AR to turn toward astronomical targets and explore light-time geometry in the sky around you. TimelyUNA combines astronomical calculations based on date, time, and location with approachable visual storytelling.
Features include:
• Visible Now and Actual Now comparisons • A live Earth–Sun photon-delay display • The interactive Nowonaut launch • LightLine visualizations • Celestial finding and augmented-reality experiences • Horizon, Dawn, and extended-sky explorations • Educational explanations designed to make light-time understandable
TimelyUNA is made for curious adults, intelligent young explorers, families, educators, stargazers, and anyone who has ever looked upward and wondered what “now” means in a universe ruled by light.
The Stars are always late to the party. The Sun is ahead of its own Dawn.
