Trades Work Order

Trades Work Order is a plain, no-nonsense job record for tradespeople. Write up the work while you are still on site — no signal, no account, no paperwork to catch up on later.

NO SIGNAL, NO ACCOUNT • Everything is stored on this iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no login, no subscription and no ads. • Works in a basement, a crawl space or out in the country.

WRITE UP THE JOB • Customer and site address, or pick someone you have worked for before • Work items with hours, so the total labour adds up on its own • Overall description plus field notes for the surprises you find on site • Status at a glance: scheduled, in progress or completed

SITE PHOTOS AND MARKUP • Take photos with the camera or pick them from the photo library • Mark up the damage before you start, and the finished work when you are done • The markup is kept alongside the original photo, so nothing is lost

CUSTOMER SIGN-OFF • Hand the device over and let the customer sign with a finger • The signature is stored with the job and printed on the report • Optional: a job never needs a signature to be finished or shared

REPORTS AND BACKUP • Export a clean PDF work order, ready to print or email — two report templates • Full ZIP backup: one PDF report per job, every site photo and every signature • Save to Files, iCloud Drive or send it to yourself; no network needed

BUILT FOR THE TRADE • Made for iPhone and iPad: a tab layout on the phone, a three column workspace on the tablet • Order numbers are generated for you as you go: WO-20260915-001 • Large, clear controls that work with cold or gloved hands

Requires iOS 17 or later. Your data stays on your device: deleting the app removes it, so export a ZIP backup regularly.
