All aboard! Your steam locomotive is already rolling – and there are no rails ahead. Build the track piece by piece before the train gets there and keep it from going off the rails!
Trains and Rails is a relaxing yet thrilling track-building puzzle in a cosy steampunk style. Drag straight rails, curves and switches from the tray, drop them onto the map and watch them snap into place right in front of your brass-and-copper engine.
HOW TO PLAY • Drag a rail piece from the tray – it snaps into place when you get close • Keep the track going: the train never stops and follows every rail you lay • Don't need a piece? Toss it into the bin and grab a new one • Tap switches to change the route, and tap wild animals to scare them off the tracks with the whistle • Short on time? Hold the steam brake. Feeling brave? Hit full steam ahead!
A JOURNEY ACROSS FIVE REGIONS Travel from the Green Plains through the Copper Desert, the Iron Mountains and the Frost Pass all the way to the fiery Ember Lands. 30 routes and 90 stars are waiting for you.
OBSTACLES ON EVERY ROUTE Rivers with bridges, level crossings with steam cars, mountain tunnels, lakes, rocks, forests and wild animals – every route needs a new plan.
PASSENGERS AND COINS Pick up passengers at wayside halts, collect coins along the way and pull into the grand station at the end of each route.
YOUR OWN STEAM TRAIN Upgrade the boiler, steam brakes, carriages, repair crew and coin magnet in the depot. Every upgrade makes your train stronger and changes how it looks! Unlock new liveries, from Copper Comet to Emerald Express.
