Trova Treasure Hunts

Turn a walk through the city into a treasure hunt.

Trova is thirty-six treasure hunts to walk as a family, in six cities: Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Madrid, London and Lisbon. A starting point, a story, a character to follow — and the city becomes a game board.

EACH STOP OPENS WHEN YOU REACH IT Your phone leads you to the stop, and the "hot / cold" clue tells you when you are getting close. Once there, look up: a date carved in stone, a statue, a detail nobody notices. The answer is right in front of you.

FROM AGE 4 TO GROWN-UP Four ages: 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13 and over. On the same route, the level changes the riddles and the length of the walk. Little ones tap pictures instead of writing; older ones decode rebuses, calculate and find their way with a compass. Each hunt's page says which ages it serves.

RIDDLES YOU PLAY OUTDOORS Observation, rebuses, hangman, maths, compass, photo challenges… If a riddle really won't give way, you can reveal the answer and carry on: nobody gets stuck.

ONE GAME, SEVERAL PHONES A code is all it takes to pick up the same game on another phone.

TRUE STORIES The facts of every hunt are checked against published sources, stop by stop. Each hunt's page also gives its opening hours and known closures.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location is only used, on the phone, to open the stops.

All thirty-six hunts can be played in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
