Why we expect it: Its anchor-based habit stacking and forgiving streak rule are thoughtful, well-explained ideas that give the free app a clear, compelling value.

In short

Tsumiki: Habit Stacker is a health and fitness app where habits are attached to daily moments like lunch or bed. Small groups of two to five people share one streak for the same habit, with each person choosing their own timing. A missed day is forgiven once, and a nudge arrives only when someone still owes a check-in.

About

Tsumiki is a habit app built on two ideas that actually work: attach a new habit to something you already do, and do it with people who notice when you don't.

STACK IT ONTO YOUR DAY You set up your day once — wake up, coffee, lunch, home, bed. Those are your moments. Every habit hangs off one of them. "After lunch, a fifteen minute walk" is a plan. "Walk more" is a wish. You can also set a habit to a time, or leave it as anytime today.

DO IT WITH A CREW Two to five of you take the same habit and share one streak. Everyone does the same habit, but each person picks their own moment — your walk can be after lunch and theirs after work. The streak belongs to all of you.

NEVER MISS TWICE Missing one day is forgiven. The streak survives. Miss again before you check in and it resets. It's the rule that keeps a bad week from undoing a good month, and it's why the streak still means something.

NUDGE, DON'T NAG If someone hasn't checked in, send a nudge — once a day, and only if they actually still owe the day. It arrives at the moment they meant to do the thing, never in the middle of the night, and never after they've already done it. They can check in straight from the notification, or say they're heading out now, which quiets everything for half an hour.

SEE WHERE IT'S GOING Progress opens on how you're doing rather than on a stretch you have to pick first: one figure for the last thirty days, then the habits that need work and the ones going well, each with the single thing to do about it — like dropping the weekday that keeps breaking one. Switch to a week and every habit gets seven squares, so you see which days you missed instead of an average. A month is a calendar per habit, where a run, a bad week, or every Tuesday missing reads as a shape.

Tsumiki has no feed, no followers, no likes, and no way for a stranger to find you. It's built for a group small enough to care.

SUBSCRIPTION Tsumiki is free for three days. After that it is $29.99 a year or $3.99 a month. Payment is taken by your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings.
