In short

Vector Engineer is a productivity app that runs stage-gate engineering projects by tracking who owns each deliverable, the date they promised, and what it depends on. It is aimed at companies, with access through an admin invite and the same account used by Vector Operations Pro. One standout feature is that when an input arrives late, the app shows whose date moved and why, so the schedule is built from each owner's own estimates.

About

Vector Engineer runs stage-gate engineering projects on accountability, not status meetings.

Every deliverable has one owner, the date they promised, and the work it waits on. When an input arrives late, Vector shows exactly whose date moved and why, so the schedule builds itself from the people doing the work instead of being guessed at the top.

MY WORK What you owe, what is waiting on you to sign, and what you are waiting on from others, in one list. Accept a request, propose a different date, flag a slip early with a reason, or attach your work product for sign-off.

GATES Your company's own stage-gate process, or the standard six gates out of the box. Each gate shows its milestones, what is verified, and what is still holding it. The gatekeeper decides Go, Hold, Recycle or Kill, and every decision needs a note that stays on the record.

REVIEWS Run design, DFMEA, PFMEA, prototype and drawing reviews. Anyone at the review raises findings with photos; the chair sorts them; each one becomes owned, dated work. Serious findings hold the gate until they are fixed or carried forward with a reason.

SCHEDULE A timeline built from each owner's own estimate and the day their inputs are actually verified. Conflicts between what someone needs and when it will really arrive show up before they become late.

SIGN-OFFS AND DEFECTS Work is complete when the named validator signs the version that was delivered, and technically correct when the technical reviewer does. Defects found later trace back to where they started.

REPORTS The Gate 6 report shows promises kept, days lost by handoff and by cause, and estimate accuracy, by team and never as a ranking of people. Leadership sees every project rolled up in the company report.

ONE RECORD Nothing is deleted. A signed version can't be changed, and every move is in the History. It is the record your company can trust when a project is reviewed.

Vector Engineer is for companies: your admin invites you, and your sign-in is the same Vector account used by Vector Operations Pro. The full app is also on the web at vectorxpro.com, and on iPad with a sidebar and room for the schedule.
