Whisperly Dictation

Whisperly turns your voice into clean text. You speak, it writes the words down, takes out the ums and the false starts, fixes the punctuation, and puts the text where you are typing.

It is made for people who find typing hard. The person who made it has dyslexia and built it for himself first.

WHAT IT DOES - Dictate in the app, or in any app with the Whisperly keyboard. - The keyboard also types like a normal keyboard. Dictating from the keyboard needs Full Access, and the app explains why. - The clean-up takes out fillers and repeats, and fixes punctuation and capitals. - Your dictionary teaches Whisperly the names and words it gets wrong. - Snippets: say a short phrase, and a longer text you saved is typed. - Kinds: choose a writing style before you speak, such as a work email. - History keeps each dictation, so you can copy it again. You can search it, export it and erase it. - Insights show your streak, and how much you wrote today and this week.

YOUR VOICE AND YOUR WORDS - By default, speech recognition runs on your iPhone and your audio stays there. If you choose ElevenLabs or your own Mac for speech recognition, audio is sent to that service or device. ElevenLabs requires your own API key and your consent before audio is sent. - On iOS 27 and later, the clean-up uses Apple's Private Cloud Compute by default. Only the text is sent, never the audio. Apple says the text is used only to answer the request and is not kept. You can switch the clean-up to the model on your iPhone in Settings. - No account. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. - iCloud sync is off until you turn it on. Then your words go to your own iCloud account and nowhere else.

Whisperly Pro is a subscription, paid monthly or yearly, with a 14-day free trial. In the United States it is $7.99 a month or $69 a year. The price in your country is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
