In short

Worry Box: Anxiety Journal lets people write down a worry, choose when to revisit it, and later record how it actually turned out. It is aimed at people who lose sleep over things that may never happen. One notable point: all worries stay on the user's iPhone, with no accounts, ads, or cloud storage.

About

Most worries never happen. Or they turn out much smaller than you feared. You just never know that in the moment they keep you awake.

Worry Box keeps track for you. Write down what weighs on you, hand the worry over and choose a day to look back. Until then it stays in the box, not on your chest. On that day the app asks: how did it turn out?

With every worry you sort, you see how often your worries were bigger than what came – in your own words. With the full version you also see in which topics, and by how much.

HAND IT OVER A few words are enough, plus the topic and how heavy it feels right now. You decide when the box reminds you: in a week, in a month, or on the day of the doctor's appointment.

YOUR OWN WORDS When you write down a new worry, the box shows you how your past worries on the same topic turned out – and a line you wrote yourself back then.

LOOK BACK It never happened, smaller than you feared, or it happened as feared. Plus: how heavy is it today? And if it did happen: how did you cope? Not settled yet? The box will ask again in a week.

IT'S BACK If a worry returns before its day, tap it and put it away again. The box keeps count, because that is part of your pattern too.

YOUR PATTERN Free: how many of your worries were bigger than reality – and an archive of everything you once feared, and how it really turned out. In the full version, also: which topics you worry about too much, and how much lighter it felt when you looked back. Unlock once, no subscription.

ALWAYS AT HAND Answer right from the reminder without opening the app. Widgets for the Home and Lock Screen. Face ID lock if you want it – a private journal with a lock. Light by day, dark at night.

WHAT THIS APP DOESN'T DO No accounts. No subscription. No ads. No analytics. No AI. No cloud. Your worries stay on your iPhone.

Download free. Unlock your full pattern once and keep it forever.

Worry Box is not a substitute for therapy. If worry or anxiety weighs on you for a long time, please talk to a doctor or a therapist.
