About
WristBattery shows your Watch’s last measured battery level, charging state and measurement age on iPhone. Saved values do not prove a live connection.
INCLUDED FOR FREE • Approximate battery level and charging state • Low-battery reminders below 75%, 50% or 25% • Local charging history, interactive charts and estimated charge cycles • Separate names, model labels and histories for saved watches • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Watch complication • Optional private iCloud backup, including personal rule settings • Siri and Shortcuts for saved battery readings and their age • Setup guides, FAQs and a user-initiated system check
PREMIUM, ONE-TIME PURCHASE Create personal rules for low battery, charging start and charging targets in 5% increments. Choose watches, weekdays, time windows, quiet hours and limited repeats. Edit drafts before buying; applying them needs verified access. A charging target reminds you; it does not stop charging.
Basic reminders and personal rules work independently. Use either or both. Premium does not change your switches. Different thresholds remain independent; matching events can be combined.
Premium adds local runtime and reserve estimates, a consumption trend and an interactive chart. Measurements and estimates are visually distinct; gaps stay visible. The app explains data basis, initial learning progress and wide ranges. Minimum data cannot guarantee precision. Varying use and a safety buffer affect the range; more data cannot guarantee a narrower one.
Optional night planning starts switched off. Choose an end time and a battery reserve to assess whether charging may help. It needs sufficient discharge observations and a reading no more than 15 minutes old. A specific night profile needs at least three sufficiently observed nights; otherwise the app labels its general-consumption estimate. No sleep tracking or HealthKit access. A separate evening hint is optional, at most once per evening, and requires a fresh qualifying reading.
Fresh local observations are collected even before Premium. Estimates and optional forecast reminders need verified Premium or an active trial. Reminders are off by default, plan at most 12 hours ahead and are separate from measured low-battery alerts. Changes in use or charging may make a plan outdated.
Find benefits, purchase and free trial in Settings > Premium, also after purchase. Try Premium free for seven days once. No renewal or automatic charge. A separate Apple in-app purchase unlocks permanent access at the displayed App Store price. No subscription or purchases outside Apple. After trial expiry, settings remain but new Premium alerts stop. Basic features remain free.
HONEST READINGS AND UPDATES The public watchOS value can differ from Apple’s display, sometimes in five-percentage-point steps. WristBattery does not invent intermediate readings. Premium does not increase measurement precision.
Apple controls background execution, transfers, widgets and notifications. Updates can be delayed; there is no continuous monitoring or fixed interval. Pull to refresh requests a reading but cannot force the Watch to wake. Alerts need fresh qualifying data and notification permission; Focus and delivery settings apply. Old readings remain clearly marked. The app cannot know whether an unreachable Watch is switched off.
Siri reads saved data or opens the forecast; recognition and Apple Intelligence availability depend on device, system and Siri language.
Forecast learning data and settings stay local and are not included in the app’s private iCloud backup. The app requests exclusion from device backups; operating-system handling is not guaranteed. Restored history does not train forecasts. No external AI processes battery history. System-check reports are previewed and shared only on request. No developer account, server, advertising or tracking SDK. Estimated cycles are not Apple’s official cycle count. Requires iOS 17 and watchOS 10 or later.
