In short

XTray Pro is a productivity app for cable tray fitters that works out cutting templates, bend geometry, and bills of materials for bends, offsets, obstacle crossings, reducers, and tees, for both sheet and wire mesh trays. It runs offline with no ads, no account, and no data collection, and it includes a 3D preview of the finished shape.

About

XTray Pro is a field tool for cable tray fitters, from the makers of XPipe Pro. Bends, offsets, crossings over obstacles, reducers and tees cut from a straight length of tray — with the marks to scribe before the grinder comes out.

SHEET AND WIRE MESH TRAYS For sheet trays: a cutting template of the opened-out tray and a table of where to cut from the start of the stock, how wide a wedge to take out and on which side. For wire mesh trays: which cells to cut and how many wires in the bottom and the sides. You enter the mesh cell as your maker builds it — the app does not assume one system.

SEE THE RESULT The finished-shape preview plays the job through: the wires are cut, then the tray folds to its final shape. Turn it in 3D with a finger, or look at it flat from above or the side. Pinch or tap to zoom.

TOOLS • Flat bend — a corner on one level, any angle and radius • Vertical bend — up or down a wall, wedges or saw cuts • Offset and change of level — two bends, travel and advance • Crossing an obstacle — over a beam, pipe or another tray, three or four bends • Width reducer — one side or both • Tee and cross — the opening in the side, the bottom lap, laterals • Bill of materials — lengths with waste, splices, bolts, supports, rods, anchors • Fill and load — percentage fill, kg/m, the smallest standard tray

MEASURE THE WAY YOU DO ON SITE You enter the route from the points where the centre lines meet, the way it is measured on the job. The app works out how much stock each bend takes and exactly where the cuts fall. It warns when bends run into each other, wedges overlap, or cuts land in the same mesh cell.

NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT Works offline and collects no data. Polish and English, millimetres or inches, dark and light.

The results are cutting geometry. Check safe loads, support spacing and the design's requirements against the maker's data and the drawings.
