Yifang: Keepsake Journal

A ticket, a gift, a little object brought home from a trip. Some things are worth keeping because of the stories they hold.

Yifang gives those little things a place. Take or choose a photo, then add a name, date, place, and story. Or start with words and fill in the rest later. Browse your collection by date, category, or place.

Keep the dates that matter to you, from when you first met to anniversaries of your own. Unfinished stories stay in Drafts, and removed keepsakes can be restored.

This version has no accounts, shared collections, or cloud sync. Your collection is stored inside the app on this device.

On iPhone, detect subjects and make photo cutouts, or keep the original image. Photo dates and coordinates are read locally. Confirm before sending coordinates to Apple for a place lookup or loading an Apple map, or enter a place yourself. Place searches use Apple services. Optional speech input asks for permission first, and the resulting text is yours to edit.

Speech and place features may use Apple services. System backups follow your settings. Read Privacy and data in the app for details.

Use Us > Backup and migration to export a complete .yifangbackup file, then preview and confirm an import into a completely empty library. It includes keepsakes, drafts, Recently removed, associated or retained originals and cutouts, profile photos, personal details and anniversaries. The file is unencrypted. You choose its location in the system file picker; your file provider may sync it. Yifang does not automatically upload or share it. Export preserves the source library, import preserves the backup file, and deleting the app does not delete separately saved backups.
