YogaBalance: Yoga Cue Cards
Not claimedYoga cues are short
By 天纵 张 · Health and fitnessWhy we expect it: Clear visual cue cards make yoga instructions easier to follow for both teachers and practitioners.
About
Yoga cues are short. Bodies are complicated.
"Draw your shoulders away from your ears." "Push the floor away." In class, cues like these come and go in a breath, and it isn't always clear what they're asking your body to do. YogaBalance gives every cue its own card: a figure moves from before to after, and a single arrow or line shows exactly what changes.
FOR TEACHERS Choose a class by style – Hatha Basics, Sun Salutation A, Core Flow, Yin: Hips and Back, or Neck and Shoulder Care – and flip through it as you teach. Rearrange the cards to fit your own sequence.
FOR PRACTITIONERS Pick what you're working on – core lines, square shoulders, a long neck, strong hips, an open back or long legs – and get a short sequence of poses, already in order.
FLIP OR PLAY • Flip: one card per cue. The figure moves once, then holds, so your attention stays on your own body. • Play: the cards move on with your breath, with spoken cues.
WHAT'S INSIDE • 15 poses and more than 50 cue cards • What each step should feel like – and for some, the common mistake shown before the fix • A practice log that remembers where you left off • English and Chinese
