About
Watch your zoetrope records and slipmats animate through your camera, or live on your turntable with your own eyes. And it's totally free for everyone.
Zoetrope Viewer by Animated Record Company turns your iPhone into a dedicated zoetrope viewer. Put on a record, start your turntable and pick a mode.
CAMERA See the animation through your iPhone camera. It's set up to work straight away: simply point your phone at the record and start filming. That's it.
Want more control? Fine-tune your recording with adjustable shutter speed and brightness, or switch on the torch when filming in the dark. Record in HD or 4K, then share your recordings or save them to your Photos library.
STROBE LIGHT Watch the animation live on your turntable with your own eyes, no screen needed. Strobe Light mode uses your iPhone's torch as an adjustable strobe. Works best in a dark room, so turn out the lights for this one.
Strobe Light mode uses rapidly flashing light. If you are sensitive to flashing lights or have photosensitive epilepsy, use Camera mode instead.
Designed for viewing zoetrope records and slipmats. Discover ours at Animated Record Company.
