Af kengo sasai · Musik og lydDerfor forventer vi det: A clear, practical niche for bass players, with on-device audio processing, a helpful listen-and-fix loop, and a free download.
Kort fortalt
Bass TAB by Ear is an iPhone app that turns your own audio into a draft bass tab in tab and staff notation, which you then compare against the recording and correct by tapping notes, strings, frets and durations. It offers isolated bass playback, slowed playback without pitch change, and a click track for checking rhythm. It is aimed at bass players who learn songs by ear, and its standout point is that all analysis happens on the device, so audio never leaves the phone.

Given up on learning songs by ear? Given up on a song because you couldn't find the tab?
Bass TAB by Ear gives you a head start: it turns your own audio into a draft bass tab, so you never start from a blank page. Compare the draft with the recording, fix what sounds off, and repeat. That loop is what trains your ear — and your bass playing.
TOOLS THAT HELP YOU LISTEN - Hear the bass alone, or everything except the bass - Slow the tempo down without changing the pitch - Get a draft in both tab and staff notation, automatically - Fix notes, strings, frets and durations with a tap
IF YOU CAN READ TAB BUT NOT THE RHYTHM - Type in a tab you already have and hear it played back - Check the rhythm against a click on every beat - Lower the BPM to play it back slowly
ALSO - Everything is analyzed on your iPhone. Your audio never leaves the device - Export to PDF or an image for practice - Free
The draft is not perfect. That is exactly what makes it practice: you listen, and you fix it.
Works with 44.1 kHz audio, up to about 7 minutes. Requires iOS 16.4 or later; designed for iPhone 11 or newer.
